Five Door Sedan

Five Door Sedan is a four-piece indie rock band out of Charleston, South Carolina, whose songs are built from the groove up and refuse to sit in one lane. Saxophone, keys and shared vocals widen the palette. Their shows pair disciplined playing with a deliberate willingness to let things run loose. Opening slots have come with Rome of Sublime with Rome, Penelope Road, The 502's and Wim Tapley & The Cannons; a recent hometown date sold out; and touring has taken them through the Southeast and Midwest. Dacota Muckey handles guitar and vocals, William Sanders bass and vocals, Bradley Palles drums, and Kwame Newton saxophone, keys and vocals. A debut album arrived in November 2024, with a follow-up due in October 2026.
