Gracious Day

Gracious Day is a Charleston, South Carolina country act led by the husband-and-wife vocalists Mike and Beth Thompson. Sets are built on male and female lead vocals and two-part harmony, drawing on vintage and contemporary country plus classic rock, southern rock, Americana and island material. The act scales from a duo to a five- or six-piece band, and the Thompsons play Charleston-area venues five to six nights a week, including a recurring afternoon slot at The Dinghy on Isle of Palms. Their published song list runs past 200 titles, so a set can be steered toward the room. Mike Thompson sings and plays acoustic guitar; Beth Thompson sings and plays piano.
