Joe Wheaton

Joe Wheaton is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Hanahan, South Carolina, and works full time as a musician around the Lowcountry. His own songs mix alternative rock with Americana, driven by guitar and built on personal stories. He plays solo shows in downtown Charleston at Henry's On The Market and has recurring Friday evening dates at Stones Throw Brewery in Goose Creek and Stones Throw Tavern in Charleston. His solo sets work in small, stripped-back rooms as well as busy bars. Wheaton also fronts OK Chief, an original rock band that includes his brother Greg Wheaton on drums, and has played in several other bands over the years. Songs on his site include "New Life," "Ungrateful," "No Drive," "C.B.L.A." and "STRANGEROUS."
