Soul Fish

Soul Fish is a variety party band from Charleston, South Carolina that has been working up and down the East Coast for more than twenty years. Bandleader Morgan Sprott sings and plays drums, alongside David Collins, Cat Strickland, Bobby Alvarez, Bill Nance and Woody Woodcock; four of the six are listed as lead vocalists. The band scales from a duo to a seven-piece with horns. Its packages fold in emceeing, ceremony and cocktail-hour coverage, DJ music between sets, and its own sound and lighting engineer. Shows are all-request, drawn from a song list running through rock, pop, beach and Motown. Credits include backing the Motown act The Crystals and Mitchell Lee of NBC's The Voice, plus support slots with Cowboy Mouth and Sister Hazel. Soul Fish also plays regular dinner sets at High Cotton in downtown Charleston.
