Super Reggae Man

Super Reggae Man is a one-man reggae act based in Charleston, South Carolina. He builds each song live with a loop pedal, laying down drum and bass parts first and stacking guitar, keys, horn lines and vocal harmonies on top of them. The set mixes his own material with reggae standards and reggae readings of familiar songs from the 1960s through the present. One performer covers the full arrangement, which suits patios, bars and rooms that cannot take a full band; recent dates include Vickery's in Mount Pleasant, Dawn Patrol Coffeehouse and The Wonderer in Charleston, and Saltwater Cowboys. His catalogue covers solo work along with material from his touring years with JAH Creation. Booking goes directly to him by email.
